Rhinoplasty information
However, many patients are dissatisfied with the size and shape of their nose and would like to have a nose that complements their facial features perfectly.
The goal of an aesthetic rhinoplasty is to permanently change and refine the nose according to the patient's ideas without compromising the function of the nose.
However, there are also functional reasons for rhinoplasty: for example, a crooked nose impairs nasal breathing, which can be corrected by surgery.
In closed rhinoplasty, I make the incisions inside the nose and remove the cartilage and bone structures via the nostrils - this way there are no visible scars. If it is a more complex procedure, I can perform the surgery through a small incision on the nasal bridge.
This so-called open nose correction is ideal for more complex cases and leaves hardly any visible scars. Through the access between the nostrils, I can slightly lift the skin of the nose and have a better view of the structure of your nose.
During the consultation appointment, I will perform a thorough examination of your nose and then advise you on which technique is appropriate for your case.
